Want to bring your own group? Looking for an outfitter with high quality gear?
We offer a kayak rental service, (east coast only - west coast trips are all guided for safety reasons) which includes all necessary equipment (Celtic carbon fibre paddles, Peak UK PFDs and spraydecks, towline, spare paddle, drybag, etc), for those who prefer to paddle independently, whether coming as a small group of friends or part of a trip organised by a kayak company.
We can offer advice on the local sea conditions, plus maps and suggestions for routes, and transport you to/from launch sites at no extra charge!
We have a range of Nigel Dennis fibreglass kayaks (Romany, Romany Surf, Romany Excel, Pilgrim, Pilgrim Expedition, Pulse and Explorer) and a range of plastic kayaks (Romany Surf RM, Scorpio HV, Scorpio MV, Delphin, Hammer and Necky Chatham). Rental cost is 70 Euros per day for both fibreglass and plastic kayaks, with discounts for groups of 6 or more and for kayak clubs or companies! Kayak rental is only available to groups of 4 or more advanced ocean kayakers (ALL must be BCU 5*/Advanced Sea Kayak Leader and above or equivalent level). At least one person in the group must have plenty of experience launching and landing in ocean swells on exposed beaches on islands with no continental shelf, and be able to communicate on VHF in Spanish. If you don't meet these requirements or just can't get a group together, why not come on one of our guided trips?
